How do I see an item that is housed in Special Collections?

All of the books, photographs, and archival collections housed in Special Collections can be viewed in our reading room located in the Library. The materials cannot be checked out or leave the reading room. The reading room is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 12-4pm and Thursday 12-7pm. You can make an appointment or just drop by during these hours. Appointments are required during UMBC's exam period and the winter and summer sessions.
