Items become available to students after the item has been processed by staff and the item’s active dates are in effect.
Reserves staff processes requests in the order they were received, while keeping in mind your need by date when possible.
It is advisable to submit your request at least two weeks before it is needed in class, or earlier if the item needs to be ordered or is currently on loan.
Processing can be especially slow at the beginning of the semester, so the earlier you can submit your requests the better.
